Aashram Chapter 2 The Dark Side Story Review

Prakash Jha is now ready to make a comeback with his crime-based web series Aashram Chapter 2.

Starring the leading cast Bobby Deol as Baba Nirala and his partner crime Chandan Roy Sanyal returned with darker side this time on 11th Nov 2020 only on OTT Max Player. Season 2 picking up from the same plotting area where the first season has ended.

Where in the season first, we have seen good image and purity inside the Baba Nirmal fort, in contrast, within two months in Aashram Chapter 2, Baba made a faster come back. Now he does not need to pretend a good man anymore! Rest the things going in his Durbar like “attracted towards young girls and women”, “playing politics who visits for help” and “blessing the hordes of visitors” will continue the same as before.

In chapter 2, the ashram-as-the-bed-of-vice begins to unpeeled fast. On one side, "Prashad-ke-laddoos" which are laced with the addictive drugs are being manufactured, the other side, the fearless cop Udaynagar (Darshan Singh) and Sandhu (Vikram Kochhar) in disguise trying to enter into these layers.

Under the Aashram property, two young but shattered women are kept, prisoners. Another cast named Pammi (Aaditi Pohankar) working energetically to win the Wrestling championship, fighting with the rivals in the arena. Her brother Satti (Tushar Pandey) got locked up and his sensual wife Babita (Tridha Chaudhary) is get captured for the Baba Nirala's evil deeds.

From that period, the Baba twirls his debauched eye on Pammi and the adoration of worship starts. Is this the true colour of the holy man she worships?

A nice-looking doctor Natasha (Anupriya Goenka) still wandering the link between the two policemen and a courageous videographer Akki (Rajeev Siddhartha) as they are trying to get something or do anything on Baba. In the meantime, Baba with this faithful partner (Chandan Roy Sanyal) and strong-Armor continues to do bad deeds with the people.

So, the prosperity of season 1 has already been tearing off. To keep people engaged for the AASHRAM Chapter 2 is introducing new characters. Nothing crucial has been done to improve the characterization; therefore Aashram 2 comes as similar to Aashram Chapter 1.
